Customer and marketing register for CableCrew Oy

Purpose of the processing of the personal data

The Customer Register is used to manage customer relationships under applicable laws.

1. To exercise the general rights and obligations and, as permitted by law, for the development and improvement of products and services, communication, direct marketing, and targeting of services and direct marketing.

2. To manage and develop customer relations, and to provide customer communications and advice by mail, telephone, e-mail, SMS, or other electronic means.

Information content of the personal register

The customer register maintains the following information that is provided by the customer themself and/or collected from the customer relations, information that is relevant for the customer relations.

Name, last name, e-mail address
Request for a quote or other communication via our feedback and contact forms
Possible topics of interest or other information related to profiling, that are provided by the customer
Date and time of the communication
Other information that is provided and gathered under customer’s approval.

Regular sources of personal data 

The data of data subjects and changes to that data are obtained from the cablecrew.fi website, business registers, from customer relations, and other data subject notifications received by email, telephone, or other means.

Regular disclosure of personal data

The processing of data stored in the register is always confidential. The controller does not disclose the data in the register to third parties for marketing or other purposes. However, the data may be disclosed in electronic form or in hard copy to partners working on behalf of CableCrew Oy or companies belonging to the same group, for the purposes of communications, customer relationship management, or marketing and communication measures determined by the controller with the customer's consent.

Transferring data outside the EU or EEA countries

The controller is entitled to freely transfer personal data within the European Union or the European Economic Area for the purposes of providing the service. The controller also has the right to transfer personal data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area in accordance with data protection legislation.

Data retention period

Unless otherwise required by law, the data will be deleted from the register at the customer's request.

Principles of register security

The register is processed by specifically authorized employees who have signed a confidentiality agreement. The data in the register is protected by firewalls and passwords to prevent access by third parties. The material is stored in an environment protected by appropriate security software and technical arrangements.

Personal data review right & debugging requests 

Under applicable law, the data subject has the right to verify what information concerning them is stored in the register. The data subject has the right to have their data corrected. Data subjects have the right to object to the use of their data for direct marketing, marketing research and related profiling and to withdraw their consents and authorizations. The above requests for rectification, refusals and withdrawals may be made in writing to the person responsible for the register. In order to ensure data protection, the data subject must prove his or her identity upon request.
